Day 1 – Arrive In London


Your journey begins in London, the Great British capital. Check in at your hotel for a three night stay and head out to explore the city! Nowhere in the world combines ancient historical importance and cosmopolitan vibrancy quite like London. Spend the evening at the theatre on the West End, or visit one of London’s many fine dining establishments. (Overnight in London)

Day 2 – London

Spend the day at leisure in London today, exploring the most popular sights with a London Pass, included with your vacation. Use it to take a scenic cruise down the River Thames, visit Shakespeare’s Globe or explore Westminster Abbey. The Pass even includes a hop-on, hop-off bus tour so you can navigate the city’s most important landmarks easily. (Overnight in London) B

Day 3 – London

Spend another day exploring London. Check out some of the city’s quirky neighborhoods, and don’t miss a stroll down the South Bank of the River Thames, famed for its street performers and musicians. Here, you will also find the iconic London Eye. Your vacation includes a sightseeing ride, where you will be able to gaze over the rooftops of the city from an iconic vantage point. Day 4 – London To Edinburgh


Check out of your hotel after breakfast and catch the train up from London to Edinburgh. Cross the border into Scotland and arrive in the country’s capital, where you’ll check in at your hotel for a two night stay. Spend the rest of the day exploring Edinburgh’s medieval Old Town, strolling down the cobbled lanes, or stretch your legs after the train journey with a walk to Arthur’s Seat, a dramatic peak in Holyrood Park that offers rewarding views of the city. Day 5 – Edinburgh

Spend a full day exploring Edinburgh’s sights, sounds and delicious cuisine. Your vacation includes skip the line entrance to Edinburgh Castle, the city’s crowning gem that occupies a fantastic vantage point over the city. Visit St Margaret’s Chapel, one of Edinburgh’s oldest buildings, and unearth fascinating Scottish history with a walk through the Royal Palace and a visit to the Crown Jewels Exhibition. Day 6 – Edinburgh To Fort William

From Edinburgh, head north to Fort William, the terminus station for none other than the Jacobite Steam Train. Embark on one of the most scenic journeys in the world, an 84 mile round-trip that passes Ben Nevis mountain, lochs, rivers and along the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous in the Harry Potter films. Spend a little time in Mallaig between journeys and, when you return to Fort William, transfer to your Glencoe hotel for an overnight stay. (Overnight in Glencoe) B

Day 7 – Fort William To Glasgow

Transfer back to Fort William station today and board a train to Glasgow. Relax on board as the train heads south through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Upon arrival in Glasgow, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and being exploring. A bustling port city set on the banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow’s rich ship-building history and Victorian architecture make the city an interesting place to visit. Proudly Scotland’s cultural hub, the Scottish Opera is here and would make a nice addition to your vacation. (Overnight in Glasgow) B

Day 8 – Glasgow To Leeds

Continue south along the track today, crossing back into England and winding along the rails to Leeds in Yorkshire. Check in at your hotel for a two night stay. When in Leeds, don’t miss a visit to the Royal Armouries, or a wander around Kirkgate Market for interesting street food and great shopping opportunities.

Day 10 – Leeds To Manchester


Catch the train from Leeds to Manchester today and check in at your hotel for a two night stay. A major city and vibrant hub in the northwest of England, Manchester is proud of its industrial heritage, based around the 18th-century canal system. Explore the sights with a walk along the dockyards. (Overnight in Manchester) B

Explore Manchester today, the home of soccer in the UK and a city with a rich musical heritage.  (Overnight Manchester) B

Day 12 – Manchester To London


Check out of your hotel after breakfast and make the journey back to London. Check in for an overnight stay and tick any sights of your London bucket list that you didn’t get around to at the beginning of your trip. (Overnight in London) B
